After being unable to find a working tampon machine at one of the most groundbreaking tech conferences in the country, strategist Steph Loffredo and Huge decided to solve a problem that has been overlooked for decades: outdated, unhygienic and unreliable tampon machines.
We created Hooha, the world’s first (and only) smart tampon dispenser. (Forget coins; all you have to do is text to dispense.) We launched the product at SXSW and have been working to promote and scale it ever since.
To raise awareness, we’ve been sticker-slapping broken tampon machines all over the country.
We created a print ad for the CANNES LION DAILY NEWS that ran during the 2019 festival. The headline was originally “Here’s what happens when tacos finally get invited to the sausage party” but they made us change it. That’s right. We got censored by Cannes.
